About

“See the world as I see; feel the world as I feel.”

Jake Hagopian

Photography is my way of sharing my passion for life and how I see the world. I’m Armenian-American, born in Baghdad and raised in Los Angeles, and I discovered a love of photography through its ability to capture a moment, a place, or an experience and share it through my own perspective.

I’m a self-taught photographer and have built a diverse body of work within the local music and arts community, photographing live bands, performers, artists, and events. My work has included System of a Down, Serj Tankian, Capital Cities, Viza, and others.

Beyond live performance and event photography, my work spans portraiture, nature, travel, street, and landscape photography. Whatever the subject, I’m drawn to the same thing—the people, places, and moments that make life worth capturing.
